When I was young, I spent many weekends backpacking and camping with my Boy
Scout troop. As I entered adulthood and became busy with other things, I still
found time for the occasional weekend outing. A few years ago, I realized that
I had not been doing any hiking for a long time, and decided it was time to get
back to the great outdoors.
After a couple of hikes that I told friends and coworkers about, it became
obvious that I needed a place to post pictures so that I could better share my
trips. I put together a simple space on personal web pages that had some
commentary and photos. Now I have decided to make this available for anyone
that is interested to view. There are many places you can find postings of
people’s back country trips, and I will try to share links to some of them as
well.
